Looking for street art
Apr. 4th, 2006 01:30 pmOnce the snow stops, I'd like to start a project of documenting street art in Ottawa. Could those of you who live in Ottawa please keep your eyes open over the next few weeks for interesting examples of street art and post it as a reply to this message? I plan to take a couple of days (probably a few Saturdays) to tour these places and photograph them before the greenery arives in full force, most likely in late April or early May. I'll then post a link to the album in a seperate LJ post.

Date: 2006-04-04 07:00 pm (UTC)There's a park near Slater and Bronson that always has a huge pile of graffiti. Relatively good stuff, it's encouraged (keeps them from doing it elsewhere), but I don't look too carefully so I won't guarantee what it looks like these days. You could glance at it while driving by... Take Bronson to Slater while on your way downtown.

I'll keep my eyes open... I recall there are a few on buildings downtown, but I can't remember specifics.
