I think that the research on canine is flawed - the researchers didn't have a control.

Fortunately, this having been printed in AIR, the research was intended strictly for humour... or at least it was supposed to. We'll have to show you JIR (Journal of Irreproducable Results) sometime; that was the precursor to AIR.
