Which corner is the Eastvale address on, the north or south corner?
I used to live down there, and I would take the one on the north corner over the south (the school is across the street) if I had to choose :P Elmridge isn't so bad either. (I lived in that area for a good 10 years).

Couldn't tell you. These places are based on a search my realtor is currently performing so all I know is what was in the MLS listing. I have yet to visit them.

That said, anything you can tell me about these neighbourhoods is greatly appreciated. I'll keep your comments in mind as I check them out. In particular, it's good to know if there is a school nearby since we don't have (nor plan to have) kids. Being farther from a school is, in fact, something we would prefer.

Well, Beacon Hill is a really good area. Beacon Hill North anyways. very quiet for the most part. But opposite that corner of eastvale is an elementary school. Even still, when I lived there (about a block away) it was never noisy or anything.

The one on Elmridge is very quiet area, so far as I remember. Kind of sandwhiched in around Blair and Ogilvie, so easy access to Gloucester Centre, the Shopper's City east, the library, and the wave pool.
Same area for the Elmlea address, but it's closer to ogilvie, so more traffic noises (and, iirc, a friend I went to school with may have lived there)

The Aurele address? not such a good area unless it's changed drastically in the last 8 years or so.

Otherwise, it's a good part of the city.

All good information, particularly about the Aurele neighbourhood. We're looking for a place within walking/biking distance of NRC campus, or at least along roadway that means [livejournal.com profile] ms_danson can drop me off on the way to and from work.
