A group of robot enthusiasts converted an industrial robot into a catapult. Follow the link to see videos of the robot throwing fireballs and various missiles (such as bowling balls and watermelons) at targets (such as a car and  an RV). Found on SlashDot

these people are obviously Machine Cultists. First they teach it to throw rocks, then it will be missiles... Skynet, here we come!

Too late, Skynet's already up (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skynet_%28satellites%29). Combine that with the armed military robots... we're already too late. Resistance is futile!
