It appears the most important talk arising from Day 1 of the G8 summit is that Harper was nicely colour coordinated with his wife. Apparently it is significant (to the Globe and Mail) that only the Harper couple and the pants Vladimir Putin's wife was wearing were worth of media comment. "Stylish" and "elegant" they called our esteemed leader.

Maybe we can cut a trade deal... Harper and his wife for a dozen cases of Russian vodka?

Apparently the Nokia 3220 cell phone contains an RFID reader so could be modified to hack the new RFID passports the US is releasing in August. The Dutch RFID passports were apparently hacked within 2 hours of their release [Daily Tech].
