Anti-seducer
Apr. 7th, 2006 10:06 amFrom The Art of Seduction. We can often see a little bit of ourselves in some of these descriptions. If we recognize them and the effect they have on those we want to attract, then we can make some effort to control them. Edit: Which of these do you see a bit of in yourself?
Brute: Displays no patience, concerned only with their own pleasure.
Suffocater: They cling to you, smothering you with guilt if you attempt to leave.
Doormat: Slavishly imitates you, appears unable to have an idea of their own or even be able to disagree with you.
Moralizer: Follows rigid ideas and attempts to bend you to their standards. Endlessly critical and judging, they are unable to adapt and enjoy.
Tightwad: They think they are being generous when they offer crumbs, and refuse to let you take a risk.
Bumbler: Self-conscious, they worry about themselves, how they look, or the consequences of their actions.
Windbag: They talk constantly, expecially about themselves.
Reacter: They react to every perceived slight to their ego, and will lash out if you attempt to back out. Prone to whining and complaining.
Vulgarian: Inattentive to details, no sense of timing, and often indiscrete. Poor impulse control.
Perfectionist: They seek an ideal partner that you may, at first, seem to be. Eventually they find those faults that show that you do not match their ideal.
