Those who follow Bendis's "Powers" comic book series (about cops working in a world populated by superheros) may be interested to learn that Bendis has approved a script for a pilot live-action version of his comic. For those who don't follow the comic (that is only released in trade paperback format), the comic follows two cops, one a former superhero who lost his powers, as they attempt to solve cases in a world where superheros can both help and hinder their investigations. In effect, the story makes superheroes part of the landscape within which Bendis presents a police drama rather than a "superhero" story per se.
