Shutting out the world can be hazardous to your health - Toronto police issued a warning to remind people that people need to pay attention to their environment instead of hiding behind their iPods. This comes in the wake of yet another accident involving a person so wrapped up in listening to their music that they didn't hear the warning bell of an oncoming streetcar. The altercation was not fatal in this case, but an earlier incident here in Ottawa resulting in a person being killed.
