New vegetarian food designed for meat-eaters - A Swedish doctoral student has designed a food product, called tempe, with a high folate content and improves the body's uptake of iron. Meat provides better iron uptake but too much meat in one's diet is not healthy. Meanwhile, folate has been linked to reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer.

Windows 7 to feature built-in touch screen support - Ballmer and Gates recently demoed the next version of Windows which is, essentially, Vista with more features and few twists. Photos and a video can be found on Wired's website.

NASA plans to pull out of ISS by 2015 - Over the past 10 years, NASA has been footing 75% of the costs of keeping the International Space Station in orbit, but there has been, as yet unconfirmed,  talk that on 2015 they plan to pull their funding so that they can directed that money into a moon base. This leaves the 13 remaining nations to figure out how to keep the ISS running.
