Scanning books using a Mac webcam

Delicious Library - Full version is $40, no word on how broken the trial version is. You take a picture of the barcode with your webcam and the software finds the title and places it in a digital library

Cocoa Barcode Scanner - An open-source package from SourceForge written in the Cocoa that does much the same as Delicious, but it probably much less pretty. It reads images from a firewire camera, but there is no word as to whether this can also use a standard webcam. Some assembly required i.e. you compile the source yourself using gcc.
