I've heard only maybe six of the 28 used in any context. Apparently we don't get all the cool British colony loan words this far south :) .

In Canada we were brought up on British television in the 70s and 80s, augmented with Aussie science shows ("Science 3000" was a good one, though I don't know the significance of the name).

Makes a certain amount of sense, combined with the fact that I spent the last 9 months hanging out with Aussies. They have some very strange slang!
