Gadgets: Fake window

Here's an interesting idea from MAKE magazine to make a room appear physically larger. Take a set of blinds and put white LEDs on the inside, then affix to a wall with no outside window. The effect, as you can see, makes it appear there is a window on the other side of the blinds. Set them on a timer and you can even simulate daylight.
