Which river is that? The Rideau? It's gorgeous.

It's the Ottawa river, seen from behind the Parliament buildings, looking toward the Supreme Court building.

I've never managed to get down that far behind Parliament.

There's a pagoda (closed for the winter) near where I took the shot, but not much else. It might be a good place to watch the fireworks festival over in Gatineau in August.
