I've rather liked most of the Americans I've met. Most of them seem to be intelligent, thoughtful, and unhappy with the direction their government has taken their country.

I do, however, have problems with fanatics of any stripe, and the WBC is scary in their fanaticism. There are many, many Americans who dislike them and very much disagree with the things they espouse. And the WBC is also taking shots at Americans for being too accepting of people they don't like.
